Refund Policy

At Spec Civil, we take pride in delivering high-quality excavation and civil services. Because our work involves labor, equipment, fuel, and scheduling commitments, our refund policy is as follows:

Deposits

  • Deposits are non-refundable once work has been scheduled.

  • Deposits cover administrative costs, equipment allocation, and job preparation.

Cancellations

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled start date may be eligible for a partial refund at our discretion, minus any incurred costs.

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled start date are not eligible for a refund.

Services Rendered

  • No refunds will be issued for services already performed, including partial completion of work.

  • If a project is terminated early by the client, the client is responsible for payment of all work completed up to that point.

Unsatisfactory Work

  • If you believe the work performed does not meet agreed-upon specifications, you must notify us within 48 hours of project completion.

  • Spec Civil will review the concern and, if necessary, make reasonable efforts to correct the issue.

  • Refunds will not be issued in place of corrective work unless agreed upon in writing.

Delays & Conditions

  • Spec Civil is not responsible for delays caused by weather, site conditions, utility locates, permitting issues, or other factors beyond our control.

  • Delays due to these conditions do not qualify for refunds.

Payment Disputes

  • Any payment disputes must be submitted in writing within 7 days of invoice date.

  • Chargebacks initiated without first contacting Spec Civil to resolve the issue may be subject to additional fees.
